Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality are two of the ways that tech can change the way you look at the world. The terms can be confusing. Augmented reality and virtual reality are increasingly used in technology, so knowing the difference is important. Augmented reality (AR) adds digital elements to a live view often by using the camera on a smartphone. Examples of augmented reality experiences include Snapchat lenses and the game Pokemon Go. In a mixed reality (MR) experience, which combines elements of both AR and VR, real-world and digital objects interact. Virtual Reality is defined as "the use of computer technology to create a simulated environment." When you view VR, you are viewing a completely different reality than the one in front of you.
